This instrument is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the national standard GB/T3498 “Determination of Dropping Point of Lubricating Grease over a Wide Temperature Range”; it is a metal bath, suitable for determining the dropping point of lubricating grease in accordance with the provisions of the GB/T3498 standard. That is, when the lubricating grease is filled into a grease cup with a dropping point thermometer, under specified heating conditions, the temperature at which the first drop of liquid drips from the sample in the grease cup is called the dropping point.
