一、Product Introduction

The Difal Abrasion Tester measures the wear resistance of stone materials. For certain types of stone, this resistance varies between dry and wet conditions. Primarily used for testing abrasion rates (i.e., resistance to friction and impact), it serves as a key indicator for evaluating aggregate quality. This standard complies with European and French standards NF P18-572 and related specifications.

The system consists of four hollow cylinders with sealed ends, designed for granular materials ranging from 4 to 14 mm in particle size. Each cylinder features an inner diameter of 200±1 mm and an effective length of 154±1 mm, constructed from stainless steel (Z2CN18-10) with a minimum thickness of 3 mm. Mounted on two horizontal shafts, each cylinder can be used for a single experiment. The interior must be free from any protrusions or irregularities caused by welding or fixing methods. The cylinders are sealed with 8 mm thick flat covers, ensuring airtightness through the seams in the cover plates.
